With this album we decided to do everything ourselves again. Kezz headed the production because he was the most adept person we knew and who else would better know what we should sound like than our own guitarist? It was a lot of work and a whole lot of hours that were put in to the finished product and I think it's one of our best efforts so far.

The songs on this album were totally fresh, not one had been recorded on another album. Add to this also that Nik had just joined the band a few months earlier and we had written some of the songs with him. In all I was proud of all the songs on the album. We had begun tracking Cadaver Academy a year before with our previous drummer Paul. After listening to those old sessions and comparing them to the new ones I feel we made the right move in scraping what we had recorded and starting fresh with Nik on the drums.

Our guitar and bass tracks were done in a series of different places (my guitars and Vaughn's bass tracks were done in our bandroom, Kezz's guiatrs and all of the vocals were done at his workplace). Drums were recorded at a place run by some christian based outfit that - so I'm told - didn't want their premisis associated with a death metal band. Laughable.

Jono Lauti helped track the drums and overall we had a good time recording this album. Towards the end we were rushing to get it done so we could tour it. This was also the first album of ours that saw big distribution come into play.
